Hard Cut.

The Hard Cuts are Hangsterfer's Premiere Line of Cutting Oils. They are intended for use in applications that require superior lubricity in addition to Extreme Pressure Lubrication. Nearly all of the oils in the Hard Cut Series contain Long-Chain Chlorinated Paraffin.

Hard Cut 5258
is generally used as a tapping fluid. It can also be used in heavy duty gear working, broaching and fine blanking.
Hard Cut 5258 Light is a unique cutting oil intended for use in Swiss-style Automatics which are dedicated to very difficult to machine alloys, especially High Temperature Alloys..
Hard Cut 5118 is great oil for broaching, gear hobbing and automatic turning of larger bar stock diameters.
Hard Cut 5318 is based on Hard Cut 531. Hard Cut 5318 is great for use in both CNC or Cam-style Automatic Screw Machines. Usually used on larger diameter bar stocks.
Hard Cut 5418 is an outstanding all-around cutting oil. It can be used in Swiss-style Automatics, Milling Machines, Light Stamping, you name it!
Hard Cut 5518 is ideal for turning small diameter bar stocks in CNC Automatics.
Hard Cut 5618 is another unique product from Hangsterfer's, Hard Cut 5618 is used in grinding, horizontal machining, Swiss-Style turning, light stamping and forming.

Missile Lube

Hangsterfer's Missile Lube Series is another one of the many innovative approaches to oils that have come from the lab. Missile Lubes contain no sulfur and no chlorine. Missile Lubes are ideal for Non-Ferrous and Free Machining materials, and other materials when chemical limitations may demand chlorine free and sulfur free, as they do for many aerospace applications.

Missile Lube 1
is the heavier of the three oils. The viscosity makes it suitable for use in many CNC lathe applications including Swiss-style Automatics.
Missile Lube 1XL is the most popular of the three Missile Lubes. It can be used in virtually all metalworking applications that require a chlorine free and sulfur free cutting oil.
Missile Lube 1XXL is an especially low viscosity version of Missile Lube 1XL.

C C

The C C Series of cutting oils utilize the same high quality base stocks found in the Hard Cuts and Super Alkuts. The C C oils are generally intended for the machining of Non-Ferrous and Free Machining Materials. The C C series is chlorine free.

C C 10
is the lightest in the series. C C 10 is intended for very small stock turning and milling of small components.
C C 22 is the most versatile of all the C C oils. C C 22 is recommended for use in Swiss-style CNC lathes that require the use of a chlorine free cutting oil.
C C 46 is a heavier version of the C C 22 and is intended for use in cam-style automatics. The heavier viscosity helps lubricate the machine as most cams require.
C C 90 is the heaviest in the C C Series. It is usually used as an additive to the other C C oils. The heavy viscosity limits it use as a recirculating fluid.

Slide Way Oil

The full range of Hangsterfer’s Way Oils offer superior slideway adherence, stick-slip friction characteristics and complete water soluble coolant separation. By separating quickly and completely from your water soluble coolant, you will achieve the maximum in cutting performance and sump life. In addition, because they minimize water solubility, they are less likely to be prematurely wash off the ways. The Way Oil series is formulated with high quality additives under strict quality control, resulting in products that meet or exceed international specifications established for slideway oils. The Way Oil series is available in 5 viscosities that meet the International Standards Organization (ISO) viscosity requirements for machine lubricants. All Hangsterfer’s Way Oils meet or exceed the Cincinnati Machine P-47 specification.

Spindle & Hydraulic Oil

The Antiwear series is formulated with high quality additives under strict quality control resulting in products that meet and or exceed international specifications established for hydraulic and spindle oils. The Antiwear series is available in seven viscosities that meet the International Standards Organization (ISO) viscosity requirements for machine lubricants. All Hangsterfer’s Antiwear Oils meet or exceed the Cincinnati Milacron P-68, P-69 and P-70 Specifications.

Water Soluble Oil

S-500
is the first choice for general machining of all metals. Due to its EP properties, outstanding results have been generated on all metals, including nickel alloys, stainless steels and aluminum alloys.
S-500CF
is water soluble oil concentrate with specially formulated anti-weld and anti-wear compounds for use on ferrous and non-ferrous metals especially aluminum alloys.
S-555
is chlorine free soluble oil capable of excellent corrosion protection of yellow metals and other easily stained materials.
S-1001
is for severe metal removal, especially turning, drilling, cut tapping, thread rolling and milling of exotic aerospace materials.
HE-2
is a high viscosity water soluble oil used for severe tapping, broaching, hobbing, stamping and drawing applications. Often recommended to replace straight oils.
Missile Lube 5 EH
is a Chlorine-free, vegetable oil based coolant. Provides excellent lubricity, surface finishes and tool life. Especially good for aluminum, steel, stainless steel and other difficult to machine materials.

Semi-Synthetic

S-750 is a high performance, semi-synthetic coolant for general purpose use. Suitable for cast iron, steel, aluminum and most other materials.

Synthetic

Crystal Cut 243
is a low cost full synthetic designed for cast iron and carbon steel.
Crystal Cut 322 is a Boeing approved full synthetic. Excellent for machining and grinding of all materials, especially aerospace materials.
CT-11 is a full synthetic traditionally used for light stamping and forming of carbon steel parts.
CT-50 is intended for stamping and forming of heavy gage material. Can be used straight or diluted.
R-100 is an excellent grinding synthetic, especially useful in Blanchard grinders and deburring tumblers.

Aldraw

Aldraw J-2 is a heavy viscosity compound developed especially for drawing, stainless steel tubing and other difficult to draw metals. J-2 is also used extensively in drawing bars and rods, as well as for Forming, deep drawing, perforating, blanking, stamping and other forming operations.
Aldraw J-1 is a medium grade compound for drawing, forming and stamping. It is recommended for tube drawing and deep drawing, as well as a coating in fabricating 10-19 gauge metals.
Aldraw J-4 is a lighter grade viscosity compound than J-1, J-4 is utilized for moderate stamping, drawing, and forming in moderately severe applications. J-4 can be pumped, but is usually hand applied.
Aldraw J-50 is a lighter grade viscosity compound than J-4, J-50 is utilized for light stamping, drawing, and forming in less severe applications. J-50 is easily pumped and penetrates metal more rapidly.
Aldraw J-2E is the aqueous cleanable version of Aldraw J-2.
Aldraw J-1E is the aqueous cleanable version of Aldraw J-1.
Aldraw J-4E is the aqueous cleanable version of Aldraw J-4.
Aldraw J-2 Dark is a special version of the Aldraw J-2 that we sell overseas.
Aldraw J-1 Dark is a special version of the Aldraw J-1 that we sell overseas.
Aldraw JD-8801 is a medium viscosity compound formulated for use in conjunction with floating plugs in the tube drawing industry. Provides a bright finish when used on the I.D.
Aldraw JD-9020 is used in metal forming applications. Does not contain chlorinated paraffins or high concentrations of sulfur. Aqueous Cleanable, Oil Free.
Aldraw JD-9030 is the more heavy duty version of JD-9020.
Aldraw JH-9402 is used for tube and wire drawing when surface quality and finish of the ID are critical. It can also be used for deep drawing and forming when conventional fluids are inadequate. JH 9402 is primarily for stainless steels, nickel alloys and titanium, but can be used safely on most materials.
Aldraw K-21 is intended for moderate duty applications that require an oil that can recirculate, provide an adequate level of EP additive and clean off easily in aqueous cleaning systems.
Aldraw K-90 is the same as K-21, but intended for more heavy duty applications, like drawing and forming.
Formula #3 is a special semi-evaporative fluid that contains a sufficient level of EP to handle moderate to difficult drawing and forming applications.
S-800 is similar to the Coolant Concentrates, but it is usually used in moderate to difficult drawing and forming applications where improvements in cleanability are required.
Vanishing Oil does as the name suggests. It vanishes! It is used most frequently for light stamping and forming applications on Non-Ferrous materials.
