STANDARD and XL vises come in 6 different sizes of widths and openings, including a version with narrow-width ground jaws (to work with the vise positioned on its side) or with super narrow jaws (to place vises side by side). All the vises can be mounted on a swivel base, which can be bought later, as can all other combinations (modular elements such as extensions and stack type jaws, pull down jaws, floating jaws, prismatic for round pieces, solid with single or double step, soft or case hardened, with adjustable set screws, hydraulic control etc. |

Made completely of hardened & ground high quality steel (HR60C - precise within 20 micron). The high precision ensures / enables the interchangeability of every component of the modular system, quick & precise positioning with respect to the fixed jaw, to match the vises between them, very accurate repeatability of work piece position. |

Before using the vises, wishing to use the downward jaw option, loosen the screws part 381 and 382 by one quarter of a turn in order to allow jaw plates part 230-236 to run from top to bottom obtaining a downward clamping, which holds the workpiece flat and parallel against the vise base. |
