The JACK MILL universal tool & cutter grinder utilizes anti-friction slide way bearings on hardened and ground ways for precise and smooth table movement. The table is controlled by the winding motion of a cable on a take-up reel, which ensures backlash free operation. Because of this construction the operation is light and smooth, which reduces operator fatigue.
It is absolutely necessary that the table be easily controlled from fine to rapid feed range to handle various grinding requirements. For this purpose the JACK MILL universal tool & cutter grinder has table feed knobs on the right and left hand side of the table. Also, there is a crank handle for fine table control. the table feed mechanism is so designed to be controllable by finger tip action which permits sensitive and immediate response to various grinding conditions by the operator.
