The TAI PINN radial arm drilling machines offers solid design and construction for high precision and longevity. Features include high class cast iron arms, heat treated and precision ground arm slides, special spring balanced spindles for higher durability, overload protective devices to protect the operator against injury, arm elevating control by cross switch and driven by a copper nut / lead screw for reaching the ideal working height stably and smoothly and safety devices to prevent the arm from falling due to wear of the elevating copper nut.
The TPR-1100 includes hydraulic clamping of the arm up/down device, which is easy to operate and assures the centre position of the tool to be maintained after tool change.
The TPR-1600H includes hydraulically actuated speed change, separate hydraulic clamping of the arm, column and gearbox, special automatic tool eject device for easy tool change and optional tables for full 90 degree tilting. Additional workholding devices and cutting tools can be supplied by Machinery Canada to suit your particular requirements.
