When ZDTP containing fluids leak into the coolant, a chemical reaction occurs
|
- Water soluble phosphates are produced
- As the phosphate products migrate to the water phase, the zinc is attracted
- The migration of the phosphates and zinc begins to pull emulsifiers from the coolant
- The mixture of phosphates, zinc and emulsifiers creates a gum-like mass that ad-heres to machines, tools and sumps
- The pH drops dramatically as the coolant becomes unstable
- The residue, comprised primarily of sodium, phosphorus and zinc, adheres to tooling and causes excessive tool wear

Way-Pure is a premium blend of highly refined lubricating oils and a non-corrosive, anti-wear, extreme pressure package specifically designed to provide maximum lubricity and long life.

Way-Pure does not contain conventional extreme pressure additives such as phosphorus, sulfur and zinc, and thus will not contribute to the premature degradation of metalworking systems.Way-Pure is avilable in ISO viscosity grades 32,68,100 & 200. Way-Pure meets Cincinnati Milacron speficiations P 47.
